3. Create Decision Charts & Diagrams


Templates are the easiest way to create a decision chart or diagram. To get a template:

  1. ASQ Quality Tools - free templates for many decision-making charts and graphs.
  2. FreeQuality site - generate decision charts in Microsoft Excel.
  3. Google - search for templates using a combination of keywords, using this sample format: force field Word template
  4. Office templates - from within Word, Excel, or Visio, click New and search for the type of chart or graph you want to create.

4. Create a PowerPoint Presentation

When you are finished with your chart (or diagram) and you are going to insert it into a PowerPoint presentation or Word document, first save it as an image using one of these two options:

  • Another option is to take a screen capture of your chart using Windows' Snipping Tool, then copy and paste the resulting image into PowerPoint. If you are unfamiliar with the Snipping Tool, watch Using the Windows Snipping Tool or follow these steps.
